Using Translate With Voice.
How do I translate using my voice?
Tap the microphone, allow microphone access if requested, speak, then tap again to stop. Translate With Voice will process the speech and generate a translation.
How do I type a translation?
Type or paste your message into the text box and tap the Translate button.
How do I hear a translation?
Use the Listen or Play button shown with the translation where available.
What is Conversation Mode?
Conversation Mode lets two people using different languages take turns speaking. Each turn is transcribed, translated and can be read aloud for the other person. It is turn-based rather than simultaneous realtime interpreting.
Why is my microphone blocked?
Microphone access must be enabled in your browser or device permission settings. Enable it for this site, then retry the microphone.
Are Conversation Mode conversations permanently saved?
No. Conversation Mode is currently session-based. Turns are temporary, and leaving or resetting the conversation clears the current conversation state.
Why do some Learn or Profile features say Coming Soon?
Personalised lessons, Practice features and some account and settings functionality are still being developed and are not available yet.
Can a translation be wrong?
Yes. AI-assisted translation can occasionally make mistakes. Important translations should be independently verified before you rely on them.
